1. Designs & Creative Style
- Reference images are used as inspiration only. Tam Tam Bakes reserves the right to apply its own creative interpretation and style to all designs.
- As all cakes and cupcakes are handmade, slight variations in colour, detail, and finish may occur.
- Exact replication of another baker’s work is not guaranteed.
- Any specific design requests must be communicated clearly at the time of booking.
2. Orders & Payments
- A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your order.
- Orders are only confirmed once the deposit has been received. Dates are not held without payment.
- The remaining balance must be paid on or before the collection date.
- Orders placed less than 7 days before collection must be paid in full within 24 hours of accepting the quotation.
- Cash payments must be arranged in advance. Please notify Tam Tam Bakes prior to collection if you intend to pay in cash. Exact amounts are appreciated, as change may not be available.
- Any changes requested after the quotation has been accepted may result in an adjustment to the final balance.
3. Cancellations & Changes
- Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
- Orders cancelled within 5 days of collection are non-refundable in full.
- Date changes are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
- As all products are custom-made, no refunds will be issued once the order has been completed and collected.
4. Collection & Transportation
- Once the order has been collected, responsibility transfers to the client. Tam Tam Bakes cannot be held liable for any damage occurring after collection.
- Please collect at the agreed time. If delayed, kindly inform us in advance.
- Cakes and cupcakes must be carried and transported level at all times.
- Place products on a flat surface (e.g., passenger footwell or boot with air conditioning on).
- Do not place cakes on car seats.
- Keep products out of direct sunlight and avoid leaving them in a hot vehicle — even on cooler days.
- Tam Tam Bakes reserves the right to refuse release of an order to anyone appearing under the influence.
- Tam Tam Bakes is not responsible for any damage caused by improper handling or heat exposure after collection.
5. Aftercare & Storage
- Store cakes and cupcakes in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight and heat.
- If refrigerated, fondant may become sticky or develop condensation — this does not affect food safety.
- Remove cakes from refrigeration at least 1 hour before serving (weather permitting) to allow them to reach room temperature.
- Some cakes contain dowels or structural supports. Please exercise caution when cutting and do not push anyone’s face into the cake.
- Some cakes may contain non-edible decorations. Please remove these before serving.
- Products are best consumed within 48 hours of collection.
- Leftovers should be stored in airtight containers.
6. Allergens
- Products may contain or come into contact with nuts, soy, dairy, gluten, and other allergens.
- It is the client’s responsibility to inform guests of potential allergen risks. Tam Tam Bakes cannot be held liable for allergic reactions.
7. Photography & Marketing
- Tam Tam Bakes reserves the right to photograph and use images of all products for marketing and social media purposes without compensation.
8. Unforeseen Circumstances
- In the event of circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to power outages, natural disasters, or illness), Tam Tam Bakes reserves the right to cancel the order and refund any payments made.
